Cuefactor featured on the BBC

We all now how important it is to pro actively promote your website to help it succeed as a business tool.So you can imagine just how excited we were to find out that the guys at cuefactor had managed to get a five minute slot on the BBC. Yes that's right, the BBC!

Cuefactor, one of our largest clients spent the whole two weeks of the 888.com World Snooker Championship in the Cuezone, a highly interactive and fun packed exhibition area set aside at the venue, the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield.

The main objective whilst at The Crucible was to promote the Cuefactor system to the captive, snooker audience that would be attending. Not in our wildest dreams did cuefactor expect to television exposure during the mid session interval of the Final though!

Steve Davis played against his son using the groundbreaking new handicap system to see just how accurate and accessible the system is and they weren’t disappointed.

After inputting their vital details to obtain their Cuefactors, they played a fantastic frame of snooker for the excited gallery with {son name} winning on the blue ball proving the validity and accuracy of the whole system.

Just hours after experiencing this mind-blowing exposure more than 4,000 active snooker players registered with Cuefactor and are now actively using the system to help them play far more competitive matches and to improve and monitor their game.

"It was amazing to sit back and watch the stats just spike through the roof. During the whole competition the positive stats increased greatly, but after the slot during the final the site just went seriously bright. Even though the traffic rocketed with constant registrations the site held up superbly. It was awesome and just goes to show how precious and effective proactive exposure of a website can be!!” Richard Gough - GS16 web developer
